Today my nails were inspired by Sweeney Todd. Instead of going into too much detail, I’ll just say that I love everything about that movie.
They’re supposed to look bloody and realistic rather than pretty. They don’t really have anything specific to the movie; I kind of just imagined what Mrs. Lovett’s nails might look like when she’s, uh… making meat pies.
My red nail polish was kind of clumping together in globs, but I thought that it added to the effect and made it look more like blood. My top coat was tainted a little pink. You can’t really tell in the pictures. It just gives it a subtle bit of raw-ness.
